November 4, 2013 - Bishop Gregory of Nyssa Visits Holy Trinity!

Bishop Gregory of Nyssa of the Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Diocese, along with Fr. Kenneth Bachofsky came to visit our school now for the second time.  On this visit, however, Bishop Gregory has informed us that we will now be under his canonical protection and has become our omophorion!

We are very blessed and grateful for this.  We have been without an omophorion since Bishop Job of the Orthodox Church of America (OCA) Diocese, and Bishop Maximos of the Greek Orthodox Diocese had fallen asleep in the Lord a few years ago.

The staff, guests, and the children of Holy Trinity enjoyed every moment of the visit.  They had morning classes, lunch and recess together.  We truly appreciate the Bishop and Fr. Ken for taking time out of there very busy schedules to spend time with us.
